The Income Statement is attached below for your reference. The Balance Sheet consists only of assets; our assets at the end of 2014 were the balance of our bank account, $8,678.15, plus Paypal balance, $547.77, for total assets of $9,225.92 as of December 31, 2014.
In general, our 2014 donations were significantly greater than 2013, without a significant increase in expenses; and to date 2015 is ahead of 2014 ($5,265.50 v $3,952.00).
Year end balance: As of December 31, 2014, our bank account balance was $8,678.15 and Paypal balance was $547.77, for a total of $$9,225.92.
Current balance: As of January 10, 2015, we have a bank account balance of $13,606.75 and Paypal balance of $586.55, for a total balance of $14,183.30. There is one outstanding check of $1,364.75 to Farmer's Insurance Brokerage for $1M directors, officers and general liability insurance for 2015. This will be enough to fund our operations this year unless we do something different from past years.
Donations: We received 370 donations in 2014 for a total of $9,227.06, compared to 181 donations in 2013 for a total of $5,435.00,. That is a year-on-year increase of 70% in dollars donated and 104% in number of donors. Average per donation was $24.94/donation in 2014, compared to $30/donation 2013. Our January 2015 receipts, which traditionally account for most of the year's income, are also up over the previous year. For Jan 1 to 10, 2015, we have 169 donations, totaling $5,215.50, compared to 124 donations, totaling $3,927.00, for Jan 1 to 10, 2014.
This is a good start on our annual budget but we'll need significantly more to fund the ramped up plans ahead.
