Happy to meet up.
Hey guys! Im planning a trip this summer to Prague. It will be through the Lausitz and Saxony Switzerland so it’s a beautiful route ending in the wonderful city of Prague. If someone would like to go as well maybe we can get in contact!
Hey beautiful People :)
My first ever Tour (Berlin-Tallinn) started 1st of July 2020.
I went for 3 months and enjoyed (almost) every day of it!
So i'm gonna start the next Tour on 1st of July 2022.
This time Denmark only for 8-10 Weeks.
As i don't know much about Denmark i'm open for suggestions on where to go and what to do :)
Thx in advance!
Edit: The idea is to go from Berlin to Rostock by Train, then take the Ferry to Gedser and start cycling from there...
I lived in Malmo for a little while so spent some time in Denmark as well. My main suggestions for Copenhagen:
Not necessarily Denmark, but I'd also recommend doing the Oresund Runt. It's a special ticket that gives you unlimited train travel for 2 days in the Copenhagen/Malmo region, as long as you cross the bridge in one direction and take the Helsingborg/Helsingor ferry in the other. You could probably cycle some of the sections if you wanted. Highlights:
Here's a link with more info (in Swedish) : https://www.skanetrafiken.se/biljetter/vara-biljetter/oresund-runt/ I couldn't find the Danish equivalent though.
Hope that helps :)
Wonderful WS Buddies,
I'm planning to pedal around southern Vancouver Island including Nanaimo, Sooke Potholes, Galloping Goose, and Victoria after June 7th for about a week ("BC 2022"), then heading back to Fairhaven, WA. I like to hike, sightsee, and swim while it is warm.
So let me know your input!
I have flown into Nashville twice in late April and ridden down to Natchez MS, and then on to N.O. for Jazz Fest, usually the last weekend in April and first weekend in May. Superb. Andy A.
Hi folks! :)
I will start my first ever Tour (Belgium-Denmark) on the 3rd of August 2022, for 17 days.
It will be the second tour there for my partner of adventures, Luke.
We'll start from France to Belgium with bikes in the car. We'll leaves the car there. We'll take the train to Hamburg with this beautiful ticket at 9 €!
And next... we'll see ! :) We just have to come back in France on the 20 of August.
We will be happy to share a beer with if you're around! Let's meet and send us a MP!
In case of bad weather, who would share a living room with us?
We will travel light with tarp, stuff and gravelbike.
Thx Vito and Flo for your previous tips! ;)
Thx in advance, and see you soon maybe!
This is the first time I'm doing a long bicycle trip.
I will drive from France the 2nd of August to Denmark and start from there with a Ferry to Sweden.
I'm planning to come back with a ferry from Kristiansand Norway the 28.
I'll enjoy to meet you during my trip with your bike or during bad weather if you're willing to guest me.
See you !
I am taking a train to Los Angeles leaving on August 26th, 2022, and then begin biking to Arizona on Bicycle Route 66, spending about a month in Arizona and then continuing on Bicycle Route 66 all the way to Chicago, and then up to my hometown of Sheboygan, Wisconsin arriving back around November 2022. I will be looking for hosts all along my route but the dates are open starting around September 10th, 2022. Thank you for reading this! This will be my first bicycle tour.
Hi guys! Everyone is welcome in my place for Oktoberfest or anytime in the beautiful Munich!

Hello lovely cyclists!
My husband and I are biking through Southeast Asia (Chiang Mai east thru Laos, down Vietnam then back to Bangkok) and are hoping to find someone to store our bicycle boxes with in Bangkok (10/5/22-11/20/22), and to possibly stay with at the end of our trip or along the way. Is anyone willing to do this or have a resource that could?
Any suggestions for this or traveling in SE Asia are welcome!

Hello bike fellas,
I just made my registration because I am going from Bulgaria to Greece on 1st of November. I will be driving from the border with Turkey mostly by the seacoast to Athens. If there are any suggestions, advises or hosts to offer I will be very grateful.
Thank you in advance!
Hi lovely people.
I’ll be cycling from Lisbon to Santiago return in July/August 2023. Looking for recommendations on accommodation and bike box storage in Lisbon please.
From your bio I figure you are resourceful when it comes to cycling. As for needing a place for a bike box at your start and stop city, I usually contact a couple/few WS members directly, maybe a month out, simply asking for what I need. Somebody has always come through.
If you are riding the Camino, whether walking or riding, good times, good community. Might even consider a Lisbon Pilgrim house, they might even store the box if you plan to eat and sleep at their place coming and going.
I've been thinking of doing 600-700 kms (370-440 mi) from French Valence (Drome) to Barcelona starting February 2nd, and then the same road back starting Feb 11 or 12. It seems a chill ride, all along waymarked bike trails (Via Rhona and EV 8), and mostly flat except maybe the border crossing. I'm looking forward to the sights, sounds and smells of the Mediterranean. Larger towns on the way: Montelimar, Avignon, Montpellier, Narbonne, Perpignan, Girona/Figueres. If you live around there and can host, I'd be happy with a roof over my head for a night. If you'd like to join me for a day or more, also let me know (I'd like to do 100 kms a day on flat roads, and maybe 50 kms on one rougher day). Any advice from people who did this ride before will be welcome.
