Sumava has lots of asphalt

Sumava has lots of asphalt roads, and the non asphalt roads are cross country skiing paths in winter, ridable by a touring bike.

Lots of signs slong the roads, biking, hiking, xskiing.

So you can choose your own path on a map because even the small countryside paths are ridable by bike.

Bikeline Moldau

By Martin,

for this area you could find help with the very good “bikeline” guidebooks you can find in German and many also in English. They are published by Estermann.

good luck!
