Western Sahara/Mauritania, starting late November/early December 2017

This week I am starting a cycling tour from Spain to Guinea. I expect to be in Agadir near the end of November, and I would like to find other cyclists to ride with through Western Sahara and Mauritania. Those 1700 km of desert are long and boring! If you plan to be in the region at that time, or if you could know some other cyclist who will be there, then please contact me. I hope to hear from someone!

Skip Agadir - if you can

unless it's changed ( last there 15 years ago)  or you have a specific need, Agadir is not particularly interesting, the old city is gone.  The beach is beautiful, but it is mostly a tourist area.

I know Agadir well, having

I know Agadir well, having been to Morocco a few times before. Skipping it would be foolish. It will be a great place to eat home comforts like Pizza Hut before beginning the long 1700 km through Western Sahara and Mauritania. I also intend to send my winter gear home from there.

just in case

Hey! I was planning to do my very first biking tour from the end of November to mid December, from Freetwon in Sierra Leone to Monrovia in Liberia. However my friend just drop off, so I am not sure whether to do it alone. If I could find someone to join me that would be awesome, but I am guessing that you will be far from here and you were not planning in going so south anyhow.....but I thought I would post this, just in case :)

This region is perfectly safe

This region is perfectly safe to cycle, just monotonous. There are a ton of blogs and videos out there from other tourers if you just do a Google search or look on YouTube.
