Where in the World....?

Finally made time for some long distance cycling. I have about four months from March 2017. Trouble is the world is such a big beautiful place and I'm excited but unsure where to go. All suggestions considered. Thanks!

Where in the World....?

I follow South East Asia. Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia are all great places to cycle.

location does not matter...

... as long as you have the wind from your back....

I did Vancouver to Montreal this year and it was much better than any tours I have done in the USA. I will continue Montreal - Halifax - Boston in Mid-June 2017, care to join?

Avoid India, had the worst (road) experiences there (scooter rider got run over right in front of me (dead)). Egypt is also pretty bad.
Turkey used to be great, too bad that Syria is off limits. Jordan is still wonderful, but Israel is crazy, so not too many places in that area; pretty locked in now.

Will do Australia's east coast, starting in Brisbane around Nov. 2017. Got time for that?

Where in the world?

My two favorites so far: the Pacific Coast Bike Route from Vancouver, BC to San Diego, CA - relatively flat with great coastal scenery, and la route des grandes Alpes from Geneva to the Mediterranean - spectacular scenery and the legendary cols of the TdF. I am sure there are plenty more, but those are two I really like.
